My favorite fruit when they are in season, which is about two weeks every year. Amazingly expensive, but oh, so delicious. These ones were organic, to boot. From Rainbow Grocery, Folsom and Division. A real treat.

Jane gave us a starter tree from their green fig up in the orchard...in a few years hopefully you can come over to our place and munch on green figs straight from the tree with us! Each year one of my biggest delights is getting to sample a green fig or two from the tree during chillits. =)
